Huan Li is a ZJU100 Young Professor, doctoral supervisor, and Principal Investigator in the College of Computer Science and Technology at Zhejiang University. He supervises students in computer science, artificial intelligence, software engineering, and electronic information. He received his PhD from Zhejiang University in June 2018, worked as a senior algorithm engineer at Ant Group from 2018 to 2019, served as an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at Aalborg University from 2019 to 2022, and joined Zhejiang University in February 2023.

His research focuses on resource-efficient, data-centric AI and the data systems that support reliable deployment. His work covers AI data preparation and quality governance, efficient large-model inference and serving, spatiotemporal data intelligence, and lightweight model and system design. He has published more than 90 papers, including more than 70 CCF-A papers, and received three major international conference paper awards. His recognitions include a 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions fellowship, the 2022 national young-talent program, the 2023 Zhejiang University Qizhen Young Scholar program, and the 2024 ACM SIGMOD China Rising Star Award together with the ACM China Rising Star Award Honorable Mention.

He teaches Operating Systems, History of Computer Science, Advanced Database Technologies, and Doctoral Frontier Seminars, and contributes to the Ministry of Education’s AI 101 textbook initiative. His students have received competitive offers from leading technology companies and overseas universities, and his teams have earned honors including the global championship at the SIGMOD 2024 programming contest. He leads or contributes to national research projects, university programs, and industry collaborations in data and AI systems, and serves on program committees and editorial initiatives for international venues.
